We are located in the
beautiful Hill Country southwest of Austin, Texas.
In the Cavy part of my world, I specialize in only
longhair breeds: Peruvians, Texels, Silkies,
Coronets, Alpacas, Satin Peruvians, and Satin Silkies.
I have had the
good fortune in the past few years to sell my young cavy stock to
people who were interested in showing. So many
of them have won many awards. I'm very proud of my
breeding stock. They have come from all over the
US and also from Canada.
We (Lucas
& Liebe) are also now
carrying
Aussie
Logic rabbit/gp feed.
I am feeding my
cavies this feed and supplementing with
Vitamin C in their water. The
results have been amazing.
I no longer worry about my
pregnant sows. I have not had one
sow in toxemia since switching
to this feed over 1 1/2 years ago.
NOT ONE. |
Planning to show more
cavies in
2010. I somehow was the only
person showing Texels at the Austin show, so, yeah, we got
BOB and reserve... But, actually, we got the popular vote
for Best in Show although the judge did not agree. :-(
We did get honorable mention however... :-)
Some of my youngsters did quite well too even though no one
was 'coated out'. Hoping to do some coating out THIS
YEAR. I have many pairs of
English Budgies in exotic colors, including Spangles, some
violets, Rainbows, some Opalines, Lutinos and various green
and blue combinations. J&M Aviary here is
Austin is a buyer of my youngsters and have hand fed them.
Email me if you are interested in any young Budgies or call
J&M ((512) 288-2199) for handfed Budgie babies. I will
soon have young breeding pairs for sale as well ($100 a
pair). Kay

New Angelhair logo compliments of
Maris in the Philippines - isn't this cute?
Well, we had a successful exportation of curly haired
piggies to Maris in the Philippines!! Not for
the faint of heart though. These little guys
were on 4 different flights with a layover in Honolulu for
24 hours! It was THREE FULL DAYS of traveling,
but, they made it and they are ALRIGHT, just beat - sleeping
a LOT! All I can say is THANK THE LORD they made
it in good shape. Now, I hear they are
breeding and producing some lovely offspring, so, this is
great news and CONGRATULATIONS MARIS!!!
