April 16, 2008 We (me, the pigs, 7 horses, and 2 dogs
and now, 13 English Budgies) are located in the
beautiful Hill Country southwest of Austin, Texas! I specialize in only
longhair breeds: Peruvians, Texels, Silkies and, a few Coronets
and Alpacas. I recently acquired 6 pairs of
English Budgies in exotic colors, including 3 Spangles, a
violet, some Opalines and various gray and blue
combinations. Once I get my outdoor aviary set
up I will begin raising these beautiful and sweet birds. I have had the
good fortune in the past few years to sell my young cavy stock to
people who were interested in showing. So many
of them have won so many awards. I am finally starting to
show, myself, with more regularity. At this past
show I brought a strawberry roan Peruvian boar who won Best
of Breed in both shows. My 3 month old
Black/White Coronet won Best of Breed in one show, and a
young Texel boar won Best Opposite of Breed in one of the
shows (if not for a belly hair incident he might have won
BOB!).. The Black/white Coronet boar
recently won Best of Breed at the Houston Livestock Show! Anyway, I am VERY proud of
my breeding stock!!
We (Lucas
& Liebe) are now
carrying Aussie Logic GroMax
Rabbit feed. I am feeding my
cavies and supplementing with
Vitamin C in their water. The
results have been amazing.
